SEMERU MOUNTAIN


Hari itu seperti biasa saya memulai aktifitas; mengajar tiap pagi, membuka laptop dan melihat e-mail masuk sembari menunggu waktu mengajarku. Tidak kebetulan, karena facebook menjadi prioritas setelah halaman per halaman yang aku inginkan telah terpenuhi. Ku buka facebook, dan sesekali tersesat ke halaman yang entah akhirnya saya buka, facebook kubiarkan terbuka. “Kluk” bunyi familiar itu adalah bunyi message di inbox, tidak langsung ku buka, ku biarkan sesaat setelah aku menyelesaikan beberapa hal di halaman saat ini. Dan aku setelah aku buka inbox, ternyata dari Thomas, here:
“hi rifan (I hope I've got the name right), I don't know if you remember, we were on bromo together with erick and my wife in june 2013. how are you? we're good, we live in bandung now and we have a little baby daughter, 5 months, very cute:). I am writing because a friend of mine from prague and his wife from Berlin will visit soon and they want to do a tour in NP gunung semeru from april 28th to may 2nd. I wonder if you and possibly also erick could be their guides. my friend is a real outdoor-adventurer, he did expeditions in Canada and he walked through Greenland in winter. so I guess you could have some fun together! if you're interested and you have time then, maybe you could contact him, his name is ondra, ondrey.kotas@gmx.de, so you can agree on details, price and conditions. or you send me your email address, so he can write you. do you still have the same telephone number as you used to? have I good day, cheers, thomas”
aku respon, mengenai kabar, here:
"hi thomas... so you are in bandung right now. i saw the baby on facebook, i wish i cud see updates, and congratulation for the baby dude."
he replied: "yes, in bandung now, maybe you come visit some time. don't want to post too much emma, the baby, on facebook. if you have whatsapp i'll send you some new pictures. my email is thomfreund@hotmail.com. glad to hear from you!" and so on, dan kita lanjut di whatsapp, agar lebih mudah berkomunikasi. menanyakan kabar dan berbagi foto. hingga akhirnya kita berlanjut di topik utama, kalo temen dia bakal naek semeru, Ondrej Kotas dan Coleen. Cheko sedang Coleen dari Jerman. here's the photograph!
